Minnesota joins FirstNet network

Minnesota joined the FirstNet network following the decision of state’s Governor Mark Dayton to participate in the FirstNet and AT&T plan to deliver a wireless broadband network to the state’s public safety community. FirstNet will bring advanced tools to help Minnesota’s first responders save lives and protect communities.  AT&T is in charge of providing the nationwide mobile broadband network for first responders in the US after securing the corresponding 25-year contract.
